Every time you have a thought of 'impossibility" like: "Oh, I cannot do that!" or "Icouldn't do that" and you know that if you could, or did, it would do you a great deal of good, improve your present situation, and keep you going...If you want to know more about your reaction and subsistute a different automatic thought, next time when it just happens,

  • Stop and ask: "where does this thought/feeling come from?
  • Go back to the first time you felt it and notice what was happening then that made you decide to hold that belief.
  • Then give that younger you the abilities necessary that will allow to find and switch to a more useful belief.
